Overview

While a Workflow is in progress, you'll want to be able to communicate with other people who are involved - whether those people are in your organization or Vendr employees.

Luckily, we've made that very easy to do!

Also, if you setup our integration for Slack you can get Workflow updates via Slack. Currently, the updates you can get are:

  • General channel update with notification that, eg: “ABC workflow has moved to Step 3: Finance Approval”

  • DM for Approval of a Workflow Step that you're assigned to:

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

  1. When you select any given Workflow step, you'll see all the details of that step in a sidebar on the right-hand side of your screen.

  2. At the bottom of that sidebar, you'll see a Comments section.

  3. You can:

    • Type a simple comment - this will notify the Workflow Initiator and the Person the step you're commenting on is assigned to

    • @mention other people in your comment - this will notify those people in addition to the Workflow Initiator and person the step is assigned to

  4. If you've requested Vendr SaaS Consultant involvement in a workflow, you will be able to @Vendr to leave a comment to your SaaS Consultant directly in the app.
