Overview

To get started with the Chrome extension you will:

Install the extension on your Chrome browser
Install the extension on multiple employee's Chrome browsers (optional)

Requirements

Must be on Chrome v88 or above
Must be a Google Workspace admin (only applicable if you want to install the extension on other employee's browsers)

Install the extension from the Chrome web store

Find the Vendr extension in the Google Chrome web store
Click add to chrome

🎉 Congrats! Your extension is now installed.

Install the extension from Vendr

Navigate to admin and select extensions
Click add from Chrome store
From the Google web store select Add to Chrome
Select Add extension
Click the puzzle piece icon in the top right corner of your browser to pin the extension to your Chrome toolbar (optional)
Click the Vendr icon and then select Sign in to Vendr

Install the extension for multiple users

You can automatically install the Google Chrome extension for users in your organization. This saves time and ensures everyone who needs the extension has access to it.

In the Google Admin console, go to Menu and then Devices and then Chrome and then Apps & extensions.
Select the plus icon in the bottom right-hand corner and select Add Chrome app or extension by ID
Input the Vendr extension ID kghlccelgdbjoadlfnoajfeljdcefnmi and click save
Select the Users, Groups, or Organization Units you would like to install the extension for
Select the Installation policy you would like to use. (We recommend the policy force install + pin to browser toolbar)

Read and change data on all websites: This permission is required by Google to allow Vendr to view the website URL you are on to present supplier pricing data for that specific website. The Vendr extension does not read any data besides the website domain, and it does not change your browser data or browser tabs.
