Submitting a Quote request to Vendr kicks off a process behind the scenes that allows us to get you a great price on the software you are looking to purchase. This article provides an overview of the process and what to expect when.
Get a Quote Process
Request and Introduction
Upon submitting a request you will immediately receive a confirmation email.
Within 48 hours you can expect an intro email from one of our SaaS Consultants who will be your point of contact for the rest of the process.
In that email they will suggest a brief 20 minute call to discuss the scope of your order and answer any questions you might have.
If you have already spoken with the seller, we will provide a template to make an introduction, if not, no worries! We can help make a connection.
Negotiation
Now you can sit back and relax! Your SaaS Consultant will leverage Vendr's expansive data and market experience to handle all the negotiations with the seller. The timeline can vary significantly but they will keep you updated on the process as things progress. The majority of negotiations are resolved in about 1-3 weeks.
When the SaaS Consultant has completed this process they will email a quote for you to review.
Reviewing Your Quote
If the quote meets your needs then you proceed with the purchase and all that's left to do is tell us how we did!
If you are unsatisfied with the quote we will return to the seller to negotiate further. If we still aren't able to meet your needs then the quote closed and you walk away!
