Enable your employees to sign in to Vendr using Single Sign-On (SSO). This article covers creating a SAML integration and connecting your SSO provider to Vendr.

When you use the JumpCloud SSO SAML integration employees will be prompted to log in to Vendr using single-sign-on through JumpCloud instead of magic links. SAML provides a quick and secure method of passing user authentications and authorizations between your identity provider and Vendr.

Installing the JumpCloud SSO integration does not sync users to Vendr for assigning steps in workflows. To sync users to Vendr you'll also need to configure an <a href="https://help.vendr.com/en/collections/5006507-identity-provider-idp-integrations">Identity Provider</a> or <a href="https://help.vendr.com/en/collections/5006543-hris-integrations">HRIS integration</a>.

To allow employees to log in to Vendr using your SSO provider, you will:

Log in to the <a href="https://console.jumpcloud.com." rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">JumpCloud Admin Portal</a>

Go to User Authentication and select SSO

Click + to configure a new application or Get Started if this is your first one

Enter a Display Label for the SAML application. We recommend <code>Vendr</code>

Select the SSO tab and enter the following values

1. IdP Entity ID: Y1tjGnmtFlabTdw8gHo!PF
2. SP Entity ID: urn:amazon:cognito:sp:us-east-1_ZT4DHbbKd
3. ACS URL: <a href="https://auth.blissfully.com/saml2/idpresponse" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://auth.blissfully.com/saml2/idpresponse</a>

Select the checkbox Declare Redirect Endpoint and click Activate

Select the application you just configured and select Export Metadata

1. Log in to the <a href="https://console.jumpcloud.com." rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">JumpCloud Admin Portal</a>
2. Go to User Authentication and select SSO 
3. Click + to configure a new application or Get Started if this is your first one 
4. Click Custom SAML App 
5. Enter a Display Label for the SAML application. We recommend <code>Vendr</code> 
6. Select the SSO tab and enter the following values
 1. IdP Entity ID: Y1tjGnmtFlabTdw8gHo!PF
 2. SP Entity ID: urn:amazon:cognito:sp:us-east-1_ZT4DHbbKd
 3. ACS URL: <a href="https://auth.blissfully.com/saml2/idpresponse" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://auth.blissfully.com/saml2/idpresponse</a> 
7. Select the checkbox Declare Redirect Endpoint and click Activate 
8. Select the application you just configured and select Export Metadata

Navigate to Vendr and select admin and then <a href="https://app.vendr.com/admin/SSO" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">SSO</a>

Select JumpCloud as the SSO Provider

Upload the downloaded metadata file from the previous step to Metadata XML field

1. Navigate to Vendr and select admin and then <a href="https://app.vendr.com/admin/SSO" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">SSO</a>
2. Select JumpCloud as the SSO Provider
3. Upload the downloaded metadata file from the previous step to Metadata XML field
4. Click Submit

🎉 Congrats! Your integration is now connected.

Vendr doesn't automatically support IdP-initiated logins. Users will be prompted to log in through OneLogin when users log in directly from Vendr.

To enable users to login to Vendr directly from the OneLogin dashboard add the following URL as an application bookmark:
