6/3/2024 - Select a document when completing a request

What is this?

When uploading a final document at the end of a workflow, we've made it easy to select documents that have already been uploaded to the workflow as the final contract document. Before this change, if the document was already uploaded to the workflow, users would have had to download it and re-upload it to this step of the workflow, causing extra work for everyone involved.

How does it work?

Now when adding a contract on the "Save Agreement Details" step, you will see a dropdown asking if you want to select a final contract document. Opening the dropdown will display a list of the documents uploaded to the workflow already. Simply select one of the documents as the final contract document.

6/17/2024 - Invite colleagues from anywhere in Vendr

What is this?

You can now invite colleagues to the Vendr platform from any people field in Vendr. Previously, inviting a colleague could only be done in the User Access page, leading to frustration and dead ends when trying to do things like assign a contract or supplier to a colleague not yet in the system. This feature reduces the dead ends and encourages you to invite your colleagues in the places where it makes sense so you don't have to figure out how to invite teammates to collaborate.

How does it work?

Anywhere there is a people field, you can now type in an email address of a colleague and invite them to collaborate in Vendr. This includes the following places:

  • Editing an assignee in a workflow template or running workflow

  • Any "person" question in a workflow task, or field on an agreement or supplier

  • "Owner" fields on the Supplier, Product, and Agreement objects

6/26/2024- Flexible Supplier and Contract search in intakes

What is this?

Since the dawn of workflows, users have not been able to move around or re-word the question that asks "What would you like to purchase?" in their intake forms.

Not anymore!

Now those questions are able to be moved around and re-worded in the intake for renewal and new purchase workflow templates. The questions are still required, but can be moved to anywhere in the intake that you desire.

How does it work?

Navigate into any workflow plan, click on the intake and adjust the question as desired.
