This article covers the process of manually inviting users to Vendr and what roles have what access. You can connect Vendr to an IdP for a greater level of control and flexibility.
Why Should I do This?
Vendr offers many things to many different stakeholders at your organization. Inviting the right users to the right roles allows you to take advantage of all of it.
Inviting Users to Vendr
Click Admin on the bottom right left corner of the screen
Click User Access on the middle-left Administration sub-menu
Click the Purple invite user
Type the user's email address (note: the domain must match, use an IdP to allow multiple domains)
Select the appropriate role from the Select a role drop down
Click Invite
Congrats! Your user has been provisioned for and received an invite to Vendr.
About User Roles
Admin
Full access
Can add/edit/archive anyone and anything in your account without restriction
Manager
Not available with Premium Intelligence
Users with a Manager role can:
Do everything the Admin role can except:
Manage integrations
Manage user access
Approver
Not available with Premium Intelligence
Users with an Approver role can:
Access all items under Intelligence
View all requests and manage all approval tasks
View all Agreements they are assigned as an owner
Make requests and view request status
Requester
Not available with Premium Intelligence
Users with a Requester role can:
Access all items under Intelligence
Make requests and view request status
View all Agreements they are assigned as an owner
Researcher
Access only the items under Intelligence module
View all Agreements they are assigned as an owner
