How to get Vendr’s expert advice

Request Vendr’s advice via chat

You can use Vendr’s SaaS Advisory chat to get a price check, a competitive bid or a full contract analysis. Here is where you can find SaaS Advisory in the platform:

SaaS Advisory chats can be used for net-new purchases and renewals for anything SaaS related! There is no cost or deadline barrier.

Note: If you have already been working directly with a supplier, don’t worry! You can still send us the quote just to get a quick check on the pricing and terms the Supplier has provided. We can check that you’ve been given the price.

Request supplier-facing negotiation through a workflow

With supplier-facing negotiations, a Vendr SaaS Consultant will handle the entire negotiation process for you! They will work with you to understand your goals for renewal/purchase and then communicate directly with the supplier to help you achieve the best pricing and terms. A Vendr SaaS Consultant can also help you collect all necessary information and documentation from the supplier for your approval process.

Note: You must kick off a purchase request to begin supplier-facing negotiations.

  • For Supplier-facing negotiations, purchases must be:

    • SaaS

    • Above $5,000 total contract value

    • More than 15 business days from the deadline

Once you have kicked off a workflow, click the Connect with SaaS Consultant button on the right side of the request overview page.

You can connect with Vendr at any point during the workflow so long as you meet the minimum requirements stated above. Once you click the button a pop-up will appear with a reminder of Vendr’s requirements. After you click Yes, add Vendr, you'll be notified that a SaaS Consultant will be assigned and then the conversation with that consultant will happen inside the Comments section on the request details page for that Request.

Note: Supplier-facing negotiations are only available to customers with the Premium Negotiations add-on. If you do not have this add-on but you have a large upcoming renewal where you would prefer Vendr step in, you can purchase individual negotiations or packs of supplier-facing negotiations.
