What types of documents and information can I upload to the Vendr platform?

You can upload documents and information that are relevant to your use of our platform, such as:

  • Product purchase orders or invoices.

  • Final Master Services Agreements (MSA), Order Forms, Data Processing Addendums (DPA) and similar legal documents (without sensitive personal or financial data).

  • Supporting documentation related to your SaaS procurement needs.

Please ensure that the content is directly related to the purpose of using our Platform.

What types of documents and information should NOT be uploaded to the platform?

To protect your privacy and comply with data security best practices, please avoid uploading documents or information that contain:

  • Personally Identifiable Information (PII): Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, or similar identifiers.

  • Banking or Financial Information: Bank account details, credit card numbers, or transaction history.

  • Health Information: Medical records or any protected health information (PHI).

  • Sensitive Business Information: Trade secrets, proprietary code, or other highly confidential materials not relevant to our services.

If you're unsure about a specific document, contact our support team before uploading.

Why does the platform restrict certain types of sensitive information?

We take data security and privacy very seriously. Restricting the upload of sensitive information helps:

  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

  • Reduce the risk of accidental exposure or misuse of sensitive data.

  • Protect your organization and other platform users from potential security threats.

By limiting uploads to relevant and non-sensitive documents, we maintain a secure and focused environment for all users.

What should I do if someone in my organization accidentally uploads a document with sensitive information?

If you realize that you've uploaded sensitive information by mistake:

  1. Contact our support team immediately to request the removal of the document.

  2. Avoid sharing links or granting access to the document.

  3. Review your internal processes to ensure only appropriate documents are uploaded in the future.

Our team will assist in resolving the issue promptly and securely.
