What are Agreements?

Agreements is where you view and manage contracts and subscriptions in Vendr. Adding your Agreements allows you to get the most out of everything Vendr offers, including:

  • Create and manage a comprehensive renewal calendar

  • Get the most out of our SaaS Advisory services.

  • Gain a global perspective of your organization's SaaS spend

  • Run a world class procurement process using Vendr's workflow tools

Additionally, you will receive renewal reminders for all your Agreements, but the reminders will be geared towards making use of the data and insights available in the Buyer Guides, as well as using the SaaS Advisory services

Understanding Statuses

The Status column in your Agreement views provides important information about the current state of the Contracts and Subscriptions in Vendr.

The current Status can be found as a column on the Agreements page, or in the top right corner of a specific Agreement.

Active

An Active Contract means that the current date is between the start and end dates of the contract.

i.e. if today's date is May 5th 2024 and the contract dates are March 1st 2024 through March 1st 2025, that contract is Active.

An Active Subscription means that the Subscription start date is before the current date, and the Subscription has not been cancelled.

Pending

A Pending Contract is a signed and completed Contract, but both the Start and end dates are after the current date.

i.e. if if today's date is May 5th 2024 and the contract dates are June 1st 2024 through June 1st 2025, that contract is Pending.

A Pending Subscription means that the Subscription start date is after the current date.

Expired

An Expired Contract means both the Start and end dates are before the current date.

i.e. if if today's date is May 5th 2024 and the contract dates are March 1st 2023 through March 1st 2024, that contract is Expired.

An Expired Subscription means that the Subscription has been manually cancelled from the Subscription Properties tab, and the End date is before the current date.

i.e. if today's date is March 27th and the Subscription has been Marked as cancelled and the end date is March 25th, that subscription is Expired.
